Bhavan's Gandhi Vidyashram, Kodaikanal
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Gandhi Vidyashram was inaugurated by H.H.Swami Chidbhavananda of Ramakrishna TaDpovan on July 5, 1983.
Since its inception, Bhavan's Gandhi Vidyashram enjoyed the patronage of Bharat Ratna Shri. C. Subramaniamji whose vision and insight helped realize the fruition of several projects in the country. Padma Bhushan Prof. T.S. Sadasivanji, a renowned scientist, guided its growth through two decades.
The wholly residential campus has spacious well-furnished dormitories, playgrounds, laboratories, class rooms with gurukula ambience. Nutritious vegetarian food is served in the dining hall and this is common to teachers and pupils.
