Trisha Krishnan, also known mononymously as Trisha, is a popular Indian film actress and model who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She was born on May 4, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Trisha made her acting debut with the Tamil film "Jodi" in 1999, but it was her performance in the 2002 film "Mounam Pesiyadhe" that brought her recognition and fame. Some of her other notable Tamil films include "Saamy", "Ghilli", "Varsham", "Aaru", "Bheema", "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa", and "96".

Apart from Tamil cinema, Trisha has also acted in several Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada films. She has won several awards for her performances, including Filmfare Awards and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
