Vijayanta Higher Secondary School, Avadi is a co-educational institution from I to class XII.

The school was started during the year 1975 as a English medium Primary school to be managed by the workers of Heavy Vehicles Factory ,Avadi on a voluntary basis.

During 1997-1998 VSSS had switched over to state syllabus for std. XI & XII to meet the growing needs and the local situation prevailing then.

The school is located in HVF Estate, Avadi. Avadi is easily accesible by road and rail.
