Dandoba Hills Reserve Forest, situated at 25 minute drive-out from Miraj or Sangli city on the Miraj-Pandharpur Road, is a relatively unexplored forest resrve. The hill has some ancient temples on its top.

Dandoba lies on the borders of the Miraj and Kavathe-Mahankal talukas in Maharashtra. Dandoba is supposed to be the 'Dandakaranya' mentioned in the great Indian epic Ramayana. There is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva on the top of the hill.

The hills are ideal for trekking and you can go for long hikes in the surrounding forest area. Water sports are available at the Bhose Irrigation Lake. There is a Dreamland Water Park that has lots to offer by way of rides and other amusements.
