Dudhsagar waterfalls are located in the Sanguem district of Goa near the Goa-Karnataka border. Dudhsagar is the fifth highest waterfall in India and ranks 227th in the world. This spectacular waterfall is on the Cholarghats, inside the swapnagandha forest.

The falls can be reached by a train from Margoa. Dudhsagar waterfalls can be easily reached by hiring a taxi or taking a bus from Panaji or even Margao.

The Dudh Sagar waterfalls have a milky white appearance, thus it is named as Dudhsagar which literally means "Ocean of Milk". Many tourists who visit Dudh Sagar prefer swimming in the calm waters.

The adventure tourists could try and climb up to the head of the falls through bushes, boulders and water. A railway line runs very near to the Dudhsagar falls and it gives a breath taking view from a long distance in the train.

The Dudhsagar falls is calm during summer, but during the rainy season the falls becomes very attractive with milky white waters falling down from the height of 2000ft.
