Old Goa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient buildings and Churches.

Old Goa has some very old churches like The Basilica of BOM Jesus, Se Cathedral, and St. Francis of Assisi church. Museum of Christian art under the Archaeological Survey of India is also a must see in Old Goa.

Se Cathedral in Old Goa is the largest church in India and reportedly Asia itself. Attached to the west side of Se Cathedral is the Convent of St. Francis of Assisi whose Church also faces west.

Basilica of Bom Jesus, Old Goa is the most revered and famous of all the churches in Old Goa. It contains the relics of St. Francis Xavier, Patron saint of Goa.
