Suchindram Temple is also known as Sthanumalayan Temple and is located in the Kanyakumari district of Tamilandu. This temple is important for both Vaishnavite and Shaivite sectors of Hindus as the world Sthanu means Trimurti - Brahma ,Vishnu and Shiva. The main deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma in a single form called Sthanumalayan.

The 10 day Temple Chariot festival in Suchindram temple attracts a huge number of devotees. The car festival is held between December and January. The annual Teppam festival, which is celebrated during the months of April and May, is another impoirtant festival of Suchindram temple.
