New face Gajan and Meera Jasmine play the pivotal roles in the upcoming Tamil movie Aadhinarayana. Aathinarayana is directed by Vettri Vendhan and is produced by S.Balaji under the banner Box Office Productions.

Aathinarayana is a film close to reality, says the director of the movie. The film has five songs and one of these songs has the actor Silambarasan singing. Meera Jasmine's role in the movie is said to be very important.

Manobala, Vijaybabu, Manickam Vinayagam, Kadhal Sukumar, Mayilsami, Muthu Kalai, Pailwan Ranganathan, Nellai Shiva, Sankarabaranam Rajalakshmi, Kuilyi and Shobana are the other actors in the cast.

Aadhinarayana was earlier titled 'Deivamagan'. Due to controversy about the registration of the name by Shivaji Films, the title was changed to Aadhinarayana.

The story goes on like this. The hero Gajan is a very bright student who works hard to be an achiever. But when he looks back at his life, he feels it very empty devoid of any entertainment. He decides to have all the fun he missed till that time. In his attempts to have his entertainment, he becomes a bit abnormal.

The hero loves the character played by Meera Jasmine. His love for her returns him to his normal life. Karunas and Yogitha play the second lead in this movie.
