Arrambam, the upcoming movie from Ajith Kumar will have its grand release during Diwali. Arrambam, directed by Vishnuvardhan, will be an action thriller, with Arya, Nayantara and Tapsee Pannu also in pivotal roles along with Ajith.

Aarambam audio will be released on September 19. The music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the lyrics of Pa Vijay. Sony Music South has the music rights of Arrambam. Shankar Mahadevan, Karthik, Ramya NSK, Tanvi Shah, Shakthisree Gopalan, Vijay Yesudas, K.G. Ranjith, Shweta Mohan, Manasi, Rubba Bend and Psycho Unit sung the songs in this film.

Rana Daggubati, Mahesh Manjrekar, Atul Kulkarni, Suman Ranganathan, Kishore, Akshara Gowda, Prashant Nair and Lee Whittaker are also in the cast of Arrambam.

The film started the first schedule on 2 June 2012 at Mumbai with scenes involving Ajith Kumar, Nayantara and Arya. Location then shifted to Bangalore and Hyderabad. The film is shot in many locations across Mumbai, Rajasthan and Orissa too.
