David is a bi-lingual movie made simulatneously in Hindi and Tamil. The film would be dubbed to Telugu as well. The movie is directed by Bejoy Nambiar.

David will have Chiyaan Vikram as the protagonist. Neil Nitin Mukesh will play another lead character in the film, while Jiva will play the third leading role in this film. Jiva's role in Tamil will be done by Vinay Virmani in Hindi.

Tabu and Isha Sharvani will play the heroines. Isha is said to play the female lead opposite Vikram. Remo Fernandes, the Indian pop singer appears as himself in the film. Nishan, Prahlad Kakkar and many others are also in the film.

David is an action movie with a gangster background. Produced by Reliance Entertainment, the story of David is written by Bejoy Nambiar and Natasha Sahgal. Music is by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, Madhi.

The film is the story of three different people named David. One story will take place in the beaches of Goa, while another one will be at Mumbai and the third character is portrayed in the background of London.

The shooting started earlier this year. Some scenes were shot in Alleppey in Kerala, before moving the location to Kuttanad area. Mangalore beach was used to shot some scenes and songs. Other beaches are disguised as Goan beaches in David.
