Dow down 444 points, S&P 500 to 11 year low

US Stocks tumbled again on Thursday as investors sold across the sectors on recession fears. Dow Jones closed at 7552 down 444 points or 5.56 percent.
S&P 500 closed at 752, down 54 points or 6.71 percent taking the index to a 11 -1/2 year low, lowest point since April 14, 1997.
The Dow has lost 872 points, or 10.4%, over the last two sessions.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average has lost nearly 47% since closing at an all-time high of 14,164.53 on Oct. 9, 2007. the S&P 500 has lost 52% from its peak and Nasdaq has lost 54% from an all time high of 2,859.12 on Oct. 31, 2007.
