As Pakistan fails to take strong steps to curb terrorism, India is considering all available options including a military attack on terror camps inside Pakistan.
On Saturday evening Govt of India convened a high level meeting with top political and military leaderships and it is believed that all options including a military strike discussed in the meeting.
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee also said on Saturday that India is considering all options against Pakistan since it failed to meet its commitments. It is a clear U turn from him previous stand.
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Saturday said, "We have seen some positive steps, though they are not nearly enough at this point."
Now options for India are limited as Pakistan was unable to act decisively against terror network even after strong pressure from international community including US and UK.
Even though Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari is committed to act against terrorism he is unable to take any strong decision to curb terrorism in Pakistan because terrorists and their supporting organizations have strong hold in Pakistan's social, political and military sections.
Reports from Pakistan shows that military was not in full support for Zardari's operation against Jamaat-ud-Dawa. He succeeded in acting against the organization only because of the UNSC ban. But still his government was unable to ban the organization officially due to opposition from many quarters.
Government of India also under criticism for not taking any serious steps against Pakistan as many weeks passed after the deadly attack.
