In Jaggubhai directed by K S R, Sarath Kumar is playing an Interpol officer.

Major portion of film was shot in Australia. Shriya acts as Sarath’s daughter while Goundamani plays a Tamilian living in Australia. Kiran Rathod is set to make comebacks with this movie.

The film was originally planned with Superstar Rajinikanth in 2004; Ravi Kumar revived the project after he completed Dasavatharam.

Shriya is hopeful that the movie would prove she can also perform challenging roles on screen with ease.

The music is scored by Rafee, a former assistant of AR Rahman.
The music was released at a high profile function with Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M. Karunanidhi and Isai Puyal Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman as the chief guests.

During the function, the trailer and two video songs were played for the audience. CM’s daughter Selvi Selvam launched the film’s trailer. Bhagyaraj, Vivek, Ramanarayanan, Vikraman, Vijayakumar, Abhirami Ramanathan and others graced over the juncture.

Sarath Kumar's home production company Radaan Mediaworks, along with Zee Motion Pictures produces this high voltage action flick.

Jaggubhai will hit cinemas in November.
