Director Vetriveeran's upcoming movie 'Kadhal Theevu' will have Slumdog Millionaire child artist Tanvi Ganesh Lonkar as heroine. She will play the leading lady role opposite Ram Charan, who also played the child artist role in Azhagi.

The film is produced by Dinesh Shanthi for You and Me Productions. Mithun Eswar scores music, while Mukesh Gnani handles cinematography. Director Bharathiraja’s son Manoj K. Bharathi is the villain. Kabilan, son of lyricist Vairamuthu, pens the lyrics for this movie.

Kadhal Theevu will be a love story as its name indicates. The incidents happening in a tourist resort forms the base of the story.

The actress Tanvi Ganesh Lonkar is only 16 and is all ready to capture the hearts of Tamil movie lovers. She has earlier done a Kannada movie titled Teenage. She played the role of young Frieda Pinto (Latika) in the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire.

Kadhal Theevu will start shooting on March 16 in Kodaikanal.
