Ko, directed by K. V. Anand, is a commercial entertainer with action packed sequences. The film has Jeeva playing the lead role of the photo journalist, while Karthika Nair (daughter of actress Radha) plays the female lead.

Ajmal Ameer and Piaa are in the others in the main cast. Ko is produced by S. Kumar and Jayaraman under the banner of RS Infotainment. Music is by Harris Jayaraj, while camera is handled by Richard Nathan.

There were many changes regarding the main lead in Ko. It was initially heard that the film will have Karthi doing the leading role and later it was confirmed that Silambarasan is playing the title role. But due to the differences with the director, Simbu was replaced by Jeeva.

Ko is the story of a photo journalist, who investigates a story, which causes problems to the political mafia. Prakashraj plays the villain. Jeeva clicks some sensitive things on his camera and it is a cat and mouse game between the hero and the villain later.

Ko is expected to be a political thriller. The film has almost completed shooting. Ko might reach theatres during Deepavali.
