Kochadaiyaan is an upcoming Tamil language movie which will be made in the 3D format. Superstar Rajnikant plays the leading role in this flick directed by his daughter Soundarya Ashwin.

K.S. Ravikumar handles the story, while A R Rahman manages the music department. Rajiv Menon cranks the camera. Eros Entertainment and Media One Global are the studios.

Kochadaiyaan is a much expected film of Rajnikant. His next film was supposed to be Rana, but that will now roll on after Kochadaiyaan.

Malayalam actor Prithviraj is also rumoured to be playing an important role in this flick. Stunts in Kochadaiyaan will be by Peter Hein.

Kochadaiyaan will be presented in a different style of narration. The other cast and crew are still not finalised. Only Sneha and Prithviraj are the names other than the superstar.
