Magesh, Saranya matrum palar starring Shakthi and Sandhya is said to be a youthful entertainer. This movie is Shakthi's second venture. Son of veteran Director P. Vasu, Shakthi made his debut in the movie ‘Thottal Poo Malarum’, which did average business in the box offie.

The movie which is uniquely titled 'Magesh, Saranya matrum palar' is directed by V.Ravi, a former associate of Director Lingusamy. The movie is produced by Kool productions, who recently released the movie 'Pidichirukku'. Music will be done by Vidyasagar.

Shakthi plays the role of Magesh in the movie opposite to Sandhya, who plays Saranya, his lady love. Magesh, Saranya Matrum Palar is an action based love story. The heroine of the film, Sandhya, is an upcoming actress who aims for the top position among Tamil actresses. She won the best Filmfare South actress of 2004 for her first movie, Kadhal.

Keerthi Chawla, Daniel Balaji, Saranya Mohan are among the other cast in the film. Director of the movie V.Ravi has penned the story, screenplay and dialogue also. Camera is handled by Gunasekharan, who was associate to cinematographer R D Rajasekhar.

Magesh, Saranya Matrum Palar has almost completed its shooting and expected to release soon.
