Microsoftâs Windows Vista didnât succeed due to high resource requirements, nagging screens, compatibility problems with old programs and overall slow performance. Some corporate customers even downgraded to Windows XP.

So in Windows 7, Microsoft attempts to fix a number of problems with Vista like high resource usage and nagging screen.
The design of Windows 7 will make it for easier use, quick accessing of main tasks, easy switching between windows and files, more internet integration, gadget integration to Windows Explorer etc
The company also said that it was planning to introduce a Web-based version of its Office programs like Word, Excel and Access.
