The entire team of masala movie Naan Avanillai is back for the sequel. The other surprise is that, this is the first time a sequel is being made in Tamil film industry. Titled Naan Avanillai 2, it will have Jeevan in the lead and Selva as the director.

The previous version of remake had Jeevan in lead role with Sneha, Malavika, Jyothirmayee, Keerthi Chawla and Namitha starring opposite to him. This sequel promises to be more interesting than the earlier version as it has new faces and is sure to set the hearts on fire.

The 5 ladies or victims of Jeevan’s character this time are being played by Lakshmi Rai, Shwetha Menon, Mumbai-based model-actress Rakshana Maurya, Hemamalini, who starred in the film Indira Vizha and Sangeetha.

Tamil masala cinema Viewers can expect more skin shows from this visual treat.

It is expected that the sequel will be taking off directly from where the prequel left and this time the Casanova will be globetrotting.

Shooting of the film is held in locations all over the globe including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai, Geneva, and Greece.

Cinematography is handled by Bala Murugan. D. Imman, who did the background score for the first part of the film, will replace Vijay Antony as the music director. Pattukottai Prabhakaran has penned dialogues. Suresh Urs is on editing. Shiva Yadav is the art director and Sridhar-Sujatha choreographs dance.

The film is produced by Nemikchand Jhabak, who has a good track record with Naan Avanillai, Anjathey and Pandi.

The film is currently in its production stage and slated for late 2009 release.
