As international crude prices have crashed more than 65 percent in last 3 months Pakistan government reduced petrol and diesel prices 3 times in last one month.

But even though there were repeated requests from all sides India government ignored that and kept the prices unchanged blaming other factors like Rupee depreciation and oil company debts.

At the same time Pakistan government reduced oil prices 3 times in November.

Now petrol is priced at 57.66 (Pakistan Rupee) in Pakistan after the latest cut, which is equal to 36.76 India Rupee !

Diesel priced at Rs48, ie 30.67 Indian Rupee.

Even poor African countries slashed petrol and diesel prices to help its people, but Government of India was keeping quiet when there is repeated request from opposition and other parties.

Now government is telling that it is not able to reduce it because of election commission rules. But the same government reduced aviation fuel price many times in last 3 months, but was not ready to reduce petrol and diesel prices which affects common man.

Now India is the only country in the world with aviation fuel is cheaper than petrol, but airliners are not ready to reduce their fair.
