Actor turned director Prabhu Deva who debuted in Bollywood with the film Wanted, is now returning to Tamil for a film with Jayam Ravi in the lead. Prabhu Deva was expected to direct a Hindi film.

Jayam Ravi's office reveals that the film has been titled Paris.

The buzz is Prabhu Deva who is keen on this Police story has almost casted Nayantara as the heroine while Jayam Ravi showed his strong disagreement and requested the director to go for another heroine.

Choreographer filmmaker now attempts to rope in Shruthi Haasan as the heroine. Jayam Ravi has already acted with Asin, Trisha, Genelia and Tamannah but has not shared the screen with Nayantara or Shruthi Hassan.

Actor Jayam Ravi is working with remake specialist Raja for Thillalangadi a remake of Telugu hit Kick and ace film director Ameer’s Kannabiran. After completing both movies Jayam Ravi will go on floors for Paris.

This project is supposed to have Vishal in the lead but, as the actor is busy with Bala’s untitled project, Jayam Ravi was fixed. Ravi will don the role of police trainee.

Thiruttu Payale and Santosh Subramanyam fame Kalapathi S Agoram will produce the film under AGS Entertainment.
