Sasi Kumar and Samuthirakani come together again for the movie 'Porali'. The duo had rendered hits like Subramaniapuram and Nadodigal. Sasi Kumar plays the protagonist in Porali.

Porali is set in the backdrop of Chennai and tells the story of a rebel who tries to challenge the society. The consequences he faces for this Herculean task forms the base of the story.The film will have sentiment, action and humour.

Porali will have Allari Naresh and Ganja Karuppu in interesting roles. Other leading cast is yet to be finalized. Rumours are that Sasi Kumar is looking for Trisha or Anjali doing the leading lady role. Music is composed by Taj Noor, who was the music director for Vamsam.

Porali will have the same crew members of Nadodigal. The shooting of the film will start by April and is expected to be completed in 80 days.
