Priyadarshan got impressed with director Mysskinâs Anjathey that he wanted to remake it in Hindi. Like director Samuthirakkani refusing the offer of RGV for Nadodigal, Mysskin has been rigid about his film.
So the offer now is for Mysskin to direct the film himself in Hindi under Priyadarshanâs banner Four Frames Entertainment. Mysskin has accepted the offer and will soon start the shooting in Mumbai.
Priyadarshan consider the film as one of the best recent movies. The original version directed by Mysskin had Narain, Ajmal, Prasanna and Vijayalakshmi in lead roles. The film witnessed grand success in Kollywood.
Followed by the flop of Billu, he received Tamil Nadu Government award of Best Director for Kanchivaram. The filmmaker had recently watched Mysskinâs Nandhalala and got fascinated with his style of making.
After this Priyadarshan will join hands with Kamal Haasan for a period film, in which the versatile actor will play the character of a king.
