Puthagam is a forthcoming Tamil movie starring Sathya, brother of popular actor Arya, in the pivotal role. Rakul Preet Singh, the former Miss India is the heroine in this flick. Puthagam movie is written and directed by Vijay Adiraj, a debutant director and a television anchor and actor.

Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu is playing a leading role in Puthagam, Sanjay Bharathi, son actor/director Santhana Barathi is also in a main role, along with Vignesh Vijaykumar, Mysore Suresh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Santhana Bharathi, Delhi Ganesh, Crazy Mohan, Fathima Babu and Uma Padmanabhan.

S. Manula of Ram Pictures Pvt. Ltd produces this movie. J. Laxman Kumar, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame, is the director of photography. Richard Kevin is the editor. Na Muthukumar pens the lyrics, for which James Vasanthan scores the music.

Puthagam is shot in Sony F 65 camera. The movie is about a crucial incident happening in the lives of three youngsters, which changes their life.

Shooting of Puthagam is complete and audio launched. The film will grace theatres soon.
