Rasikkum Seemanae is the upcoming flick starring Srikanth and Navya Nair in lead roles. The film was earlier known as Ettappan and Aval Ullathai.
R.K. Vidyadaran, who directed the Sarath Kumar-Meghna Naidu starrer Vaitheesvaran, is directing his second Tamil film Rasikkum Seemanae besides writing the story, screenplay, dialogues and acting in important role as the character Guru, who mends heroâs ways and lead him to the right path.
Vidyadaran has written dialogues for Jeyam Ravi-Trisha starrer Something Something, Unakkum Enakkum. He had also directed Kannada film News which stars Upendra.
Navya Nair, known for her homely look plays glamorous role for the first time. According to repot she has given a run for money to all beauties in industry.
Director Vidyadaran says that the short version of the story is that 'Death is the tool using which God blackmails man; only true lovers aren't rattled by the blackmail of God'.
Srikanth, who has been struggling after his marriage, puts a lot of hope in this film. Srikanth's character Nandu is a person who adopts his own means to get what he wanted. For the first time in his career, Srikanth plays a role that has a negatives side to it.
His character in the film, Nandu, takes advantage of others' weaknesses and blackmails them. Nandu comes across beautiful Gayatri played by Navya Nair and plots to win her love by blackmailing. Whether or not he succeeded in this endeavor is what the story is about.
A huge star cast comprising Arvind Akash, Bose Venkat, Sathyan, Mayilsami, Laksha, Kadhal Dhandapani, Sampath, Baboos, Vasu vickram, Anumohan, Dhamu, Pandu, Balu Anand, Vennira Aadai Murthy, Satyajit, Ghajini Rajesh, Nilimarani, Kausalya and Arulmani are part of the film.
Vijay Antony is the music director. Lyrics are by Priyan, Annamalai and Andal Priyadarshini.
M.V. Panneerselvam is the cinematographer while Suresh M. Koti will be the editor.
Trans-India's Tirumalai, who produced the big-budget Kannada film Sanakshana starring Visnhuvardhan, is producing Rasikkum Seemanae.
