Sony Ericsson officially announced that its much awaited mobile phone Xperia X1a will be available from November 28th onwards in the U.S, which will be sold through Sony Style and other retailers.
Xperia X1a is Sony Ericsson's first Windows Mobile based smartphone manufactured by High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC).
Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1a has a 3-inch touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 3.2-megapixel camera with touch auto focus, QWERTY thumbboard, up to 400MB user available internal memory, 256MB SDRAM and as well as a microSD memory card slot which supports upto 32 gigabytes using High Capacity microSD cards.
Connectivity options for the phone include: mini-USB; wireless LAN 802.11b/g; Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FTP, and HID; EDGE; and quad-band GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, and HSCSD.
The device will retail for $799.99 and be available online and in Sony Style retail stores from 28th onwards.
