South Indian beauty Trisha Krishnan is making debut in Bollywood with Akshay Kumar for humorous flick Khatta Meetha. The film is directed by Priyadarshan and is scheduled to go on floors in November.

Trisha is in demand both in Tamil and Telugu and she wants to give her best performance in Hindi debut. The movie will be a lighthearted comedy with six songs by Pritam Chakraborty.

Now she is acting in only one Tamil film Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya with Simbu. Trisha is completing Gopichand’s and Venkatesh’s Telugu flick in fast pace. She decided to back out of Dhanush's Aadukalam and is working out a settlement with them.

Trisha Krishnan History
Trisha Krishnan was born in 1983. While studying she won Miss Chennai, Miss Salem crowns in 1999 and Miss India Miss Beautiful Smile in 2001. After this, Charming Trisha got many modeling offers including Fair and Lovely, Josco, Tata Indicom etc. she has also appeared in sensational hit music video Meri Chunar Ud Ud Jaye by Falguni Pathak.

This model turned actress made her debut in 1999. Young Trisha started her film career with a small role in Tamil flick Jodi with lead pair Simaran and Prashant. Priyadarshan gave her the first major break as lead actress in movie Leysa Leysa which bombed at box office. She tasted success with record breaking hit Saamy with superstar Vikram. After that she gave another blockbuster Gilli with Vijay.

Trisha grabbed stardom in Telugu Cinema with film Varsham and also won Filmfare Best Telegu Actress Award for the movie in 2004. Trisha again grabbed Filmfare Best Telegu Actress award again for portraying the character of a village girl Siri in Prabhu Deva’s Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. With several other hits Trisha got Filmfare award again year 2007 for Telegu film Aadavari Matalaku Arthalu Verule.

She starred in 28 Tamil and Telugu films since. She has worked with the best in the business like Rajnikanth , Kamal Hassan and megastar Chiranjeevi. She recently replaced Rani Mukerji as the Brand Ambassador of Fanta India, and Preity Zinta for Scooty Pep+ and Perk chocolate.

Bollywood
Trisha has fetched an offer opposite Emraan Hashmi earlier, but rejected it.

The director who introduced Trisha years ago to the Kollywood is her godfather in Bollywood too.Trisha, 26 is to relocate to Mumbai as she is concentrating on Bollywood.
