Director Vincent Selva who had made different films like Piriyamudan, Iraniyan and Jithan, makes a come back with another different story, through his new venture 'Thulli Vilayadu'. The story is written by the director, while screenplay and dialogues written by Sasidharan.

Newcomer Yuvraj is the hero in Thulli Vilayadu, while 'Engeyum Eppodum' fame Deepti is the female lead. Prakashraj appears in a very different role in this flick. He is appearing in a 'Kuthu' dance number choreographed by Dhina and featured Ankitha from Mumbai. This song was shot in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.

Yuvraj play the role of a businessmen in this film, Suri is a politician and Senrayan is a film actor. These three friends from a village are working hard to achieve their goals. Something happens in their life and they become the target of a don, who will do anything to make his aims true. What happens in the life of the trio is the crux of the story. Jayaprakash also plays the role of a politician.

D. Govindarajan produces this movie under the banner of RB Studios. S.K. Boopathy is the cinematographer, editing by V.T. Vijayan. Srikanth Deva composes music for Thulli Vilayadu. The lyrics are penned by Naa Muthukumar and Kabilan. Dances choreographed by Bobby and stunts by 'Super' Subbarayan.
