Jeeva is steadily accepting a lot of films as he has set eyes on major league.

Recently he got chance in K.V. Anand's Ko as Simbu walked out of this flick. The actor is to star in director Kannan's upcoming feature titled Vanthaan Ventraan. Kannan was the director of Jayam Kondaen and Kanden Kadhalai.

Vanthaan Ventraan will be a family entertainer with the essential mix of sentiments, comedy and action. The story is set in the backdrop of Mumbai. This film is expected to position Jeeva as an absolute action hero. The film is about an ordinary man in Matunga, a place where Tamilians live in great numbers in Mumbai. This film is not about underworld.

The hunt for the heroine is on and Kannan is on the lookout for a Mumbai model to play the heroine’s role. The rumor is that a top actress will portray the female lead. The technicians are impressed by the script and the shooting for the film will start soon.

The film is produced by Srinivasan for Vasan Visual Venture. Srinivasan has produced Bala's Arya starrer Naan Kadavul and Rajesh directed Boss Engira Baskaran which also features Nayanthara with Arya.

Plans are on to release Vanthaan Ventraan within the end of year 2010.
