Veppam is an upcoming movie by Anjana Alikhan, an assistant of Gautham Vasudev Menon. Gautham Menon is producing the film, along with Madan, Kumar, Jayaraman, and Venkat, under the banner Photon Kathaas Productions and RS Infotainment Pvt Ltd. Telugu actor Nani is doing the leading role in this film Veppam.

Story of Veppam is based on Chennai Slums. Om Prakash handles the camera. Joshua Sridhar scores music for the lines of Na. Muthukumar. Editing is by Anthony.

Gautham Menon has a hectic schedule with three movies in line: Veppam, Nadunisi Naigal and Azhagar Samiyin Kuthirai. While he is directing Nadunisi Naigal, Gautham produces the other two films.

Veppam is in the final stages of its shoot and will be released in October 2010.
