Indian public demands the politicians to act instead of shedding mere words. Every single soul gathered in the Gateway of India protest wants the politicians to change. There was a massive show of solidarity for the victims of 26/11.
The mass rallies were organised in various Indian cities like Mumbai, Bangalre, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, and Chennai yesterday. Thousands of people gathered for protesting against the terror attacks in India.
This is the first time in history, a large mass of people gathered for a rally, by means of SMS alone that urged people to turn up at the Gateway for this peaceful protest march. Lights went on in the attacked Taj Mahal Hotel in rooms that faced the Gateway. More than 10,000 had turned up hours even before the scheduled start of the march.
There were T-shirts that said âMumbai meri jaanâ or âI love Mumbaiâ; âEnough is enoughâ or âNo vote, no taxes, no protection, no security.â
