Yaan, the forthcoming movie directed by cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran, has Jiiva and Thilasi Nair in the pivotal roles. This is Ravi Chandran's directorial debut.

Elred Kumar and Jayaraman produces Yaan under the banner R. S. Infotainment. Nassar, Prakash Raj, Premgi Amaren, Thambi Ramaiah, Jayaprakash, Srihari, Uthara Unni and many others are in the cast.

Cinematography is by Neha Parti, editing by A. Sreekar Prasad, and Sabu Cyril takes care of Art Direction. Harris Jayaraj is the music director of this movie.

Oscar winner Resul Pookkutty handles sound mixing for Yaan. Yaan has completed two shooting schedules in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Karjat. The film will be shot in other locations like Chennai and Morocco. The songs and some sequences are to be shot in exotic locations in Morocco.

Yaan is to be made as a bi-lingual, both in Tamil and Telugu. It is titled 'Bari' in Telugu. The heroine of the film Thulasi Nair is the second daughter of yesteryear actress Radha. She made her debut in the Mani Ratnam film 'Kadal'. Thulasi Nair's elder sister Karthika Nair has already gained recognition in Kollywood.

Yaan shooting is going to be completed and the film will reach screens soon.
