Yuvan Yuvathi is the new venture of Ninaithale Inikkum fame director GNR Kumaravel. The film has Bharath in the leading role, while Malayalam actress Rima Kallingal, will make her Kollywood debut with this film.

Rima Kallingal is a popular face in Malayalam film industry with a number of films. She was one of the contestants of Miss Kerala 2008. She made her debut with Shyama Prasad's movie Ritu. She also acted in the films Neelathamara and Happy Husbands.

Ameer Sultan and Santhanam plays important roles in the film. Yuvan Yuvathi is a romantic love story happening in a corporate set up. The film tells the story of the love between two youngsters working in an IT firm.

Yuvan Yuvathi is produced by Baija under the banner Rising Sun. Music is by Vijay Antony.

The movie will be shot in Chennai and some exotic locations abroad. Director Kumaravel is hoping to maintain Bharath's chocolate boy image intact in the movie. The film's posters have made curiosity about the characters in the film, as the faces of the leading pair were covered in the poster pictures.

The film has started its shooting and will be released during Christmas.
