Rajnikant's next venture Rana is the most expected movie in the coming year. The film went on Floors on April 29th at the Pillayar Koil inside the AVM Studios in Chennai.

Director K.S. Ravikumar is very excited over the new project, in which the superstar is said to play three different roles. Bollywood sensation Deepika Padukone will play the female lead opposite Rajnikant.

Rana is a period film which will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi and will be dubbed in Telugu.
