Trisha Krishnan, also known mononymously as Trisha, is an Indian film actress and model who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She was born on May 4, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Trisha started her career as a model and made her acting debut in 1999 with the Tamil film "Jodi" in a supporting role.

Trisha gained recognition in the Tamil film industry with her roles in films such as "Mounam Pesiyadhe" (2002), "Saamy" (2003), and "Ghilli" (2004). She has also acted in several Telugu films such as "Varsham" (2004), "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana" (2005), and "Athadu" (2005).

Trisha has won several awards for her performances, including the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for "Varsham", the Nandi Special Jury Award for "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana", and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Tamil for "Abhiyum Naanum" (2008) and "96" (2018).
